In June of 2004 Frank was published in the Leeds and Yorkshire Lawyer regarding the value of mediation with "It's Good to Talk" . Frank was additionally published in 2004 October edition of The Insurance Times with an article entitled "Lessons from America." In April 2005 Frank's book, Conflict Resolution and Mediation in the Real World, was reviewed in Grynbaum's Dispute Resolution Update with an article entitled, "Not Just Another Book on Mediation" in that article Grybaum described his book as "...easily bridging the pond between the US and Ireland..."

Frank Hanna brings a remarkable depth and experience to the world of mediation. His understanding of conflict is irrefutable having lived and worked through the entirety of Northern Ireland's troubles over the past 34 years. During this time he ran his law practice and worked in radio and television seeing first hand the enormity of the pain and suffering of his fellow countrymen. In 1984 he spearheaded the most innovative industrial fight back in Northern Ireland's past 50 years. Frank led hundreds of employees, dismissed from one of the world's major companies, to acquire and develop their own company at Maydown in Derry, Northern Ireland. He became their first chairman and guided the company for the first six years of its life.

Living on the front lines of conflict in his homeland of Northern Ireland, and with years of practice as a lawyer, Frank's "real world" experience in understanding the human impact of conflict is irrefutable. Driven to learn methods other than litagation to help people find solutions to their disputes, Frank pursued his academic studies in Conflict Resolution and Mediation at Harvard Law School and Pepperdine University, Malibu, California.

Frank Hanna, D.Med. In May of 2005 Frank Hanna earned the first ever Doctorate of Mediation in the world from Graduate Theological Foundation and accepted a Professorship with GTF in their Mediation Studies Department. Frank's designation as Doctor of Mediation rewards a life dedicated to the concepts of humane dispute resolution. Today Frank practices what he preaches as a teacher of mediation in the USA, in the UK and on-line with a course offered through Cloverdale College .
